Broli is the most uncreative and lackluster villain of all the Dragonball mythos. GT included.

He's big. He smashes. Great...?

Discuss. I mostly just want to hear from people who dislike Broli.

Yes, I realize making a Broli thread about how Broli threads piss me off is hypocritical. Shut up.

Yea, me too. I'm neither a fan of the character or threads about him, I tend to avoid the discussions about him whenever I see them.
Peach skinned Incredible Hulk with blonde hair, that's all he is.

And I hate those SSj3 Goku vs Broly threads the most, as if Broly was stronger then SSj3 Goku.

I agree. People keep on hyping him up, like he's the best villain ever and when I finally watched the movie... I thought to myself, what's the big deal?

...Aside from the fact that Toei wanted to create the illusion that there are two different kinds of the Super Saiyans: "regular" Super Saiyans and then "Legendary" Super Saiyan. And Broly isn't actually the best Super Saiyan, both canon characters Gotenks and Vegetto outclassed him in their SSj states.

I think we were all deceived by the first half of Movie 8. There was a plot that was building, subtle hints towards something greater. It could have been epic.

Then Broli releases his first scream, and the movie might as well end there.

Movie 10 didn't suck, mainly because of Gohan, Goten, and Trunks. Movie 11 really wasn't all that bad compared to Movie 8. At least it had decent fighting choreography and some humor. And Mr. Satan.
