I really didn't understand that whole concept. If he is able to fight and formulate a sentence referring to Gohan being dead at his feet, WHY did TOEI make him out to be mentally challenged at that part of the movie??

Agreed. I really don't see him as the hulk, more so than an idiot. Every character deserves credit or you're not a db fan. Yes, he is overrated but I did enjoy everything he did until he opened up his mouth.

I wouldn't say that. He actually seemed pretty rational in Movie 8, the way he talked was psychotic but its not like he was a moron who always went around yelling and blasting things the way Majin Buu did if you get my point.

Almost the whole movie, he didn't care about anything else except getting his revenge on Goku and basically had a one track mind. Near the end when he says that to Gohan, I think he was getting sick of not finding him but still enjoyed toying with them in the struggle.

Let's revive the hatred towards Broly in this thread. Broly is a one dimensional idiotic character with an extremely low diction. His power is pathetic compared to Super Perfect Cell and is FAR weaker than many make him out to be. On the plus side he's bulky as hell and trounced 4 normal SSJ's!

Well, if you consider Broly's power in Movie 10, SPC would have a very hard time dealing with him there. But of course, he's shown to be nothing grand in light of SSj3, the Buus, and fusions.

Broly was only a bit stronger than a weaker Super Saiyan Gohan than Cell fought. And Cell was at least even with that stronger Gohan before he even went to full power, forget about after getting the zenkai.

I think that's way too strong for Broly.

Vegeta was only half of Gohan's Cell Games power level at the Cell Games, and suggests that he's surpassed that level by the Buu saga. So, he doubled his power.

Goku had even better training than Vegeta had, and claimed to be going at it just as hard. So, he'd have doubled his power, as well. And, since he was pretty close to Gohan's Cell Games power to begin with, Buu saga Super Saiyan Goku would be almost twice as powerful as Cell Games Gohan.

And a Gohan that was weaker than Cell Games Gohan was able to put up a fight against Broly.

That puts Buu saga Goku far, far ahead of poor Broly.

I have MSSj Goku around 35,000,000,000 or so. I have LSSj Broly [Movie 8] around 40,000,000,000. So, yeah...

And I have Broly receiving a massive Zenkai in Movie 10. And for various reasons, I have him around two times Adult Gohan's SSj2 power.
