Broli threads piss me off

[Broly The LSSJ]

I think his SSJ form looks pretty tight. Definately better than his weaker blue haired version. But Legendary, I think tops them all. Especially, with that famous stance we see him in after first transforming in both movies.

Oh no. SSJ was kinda cool. His laughter was cool, he looked cool, it was great.

But then he transformed into a giant dumb stereotype. His character hit rock bottom from there. Not that there was far to go.

It was great to see his true form though. Thats what got you itching when you first see Movie 8. I thought his character also improved. His ruthless wit and that omnipotence while beating on the heroes and everything in his path made my day.

In Movie 10, I can see a different story because he doesn't say much except for that cool line at the end.

It was a let down in the first one. Once you realised that he didn't really do much... it was a bit crap.

Huge let down.

Yeah! One of the downsides of Movie 10 is imo Broly didn't faced opponents at his level. Come on! Videl?! 0_o Goten and Trunks?! Krillin?! Only Son Gohan was a tough opponent for him. If Vegeta and Piccolo was there or even Tenshinhan the movie would be ten times better.

Exactly. And even Gohan was a playtoy for him. If he were only a SSJ, then Broly would've been able to beat him without even going Legendary. Thats how pathetic his power was after losing so much over the years. Tien couldn't put up a fight like Gohan but I would've loved to see Broly own Piccolo and Vegeta again (even with SSJ2). That would've made it much more enjoyable.

Gohan was a playtoy? As I remember it, Gohan was putting up a pretty good fight against SSJ Broly in base.

SSJ Broly held back alot of power and was just toying with Gohan. You can tell once they reach the sky and he scares him with that ki blast.

Lets put it this way:

Base Broly could've beaten Base Gohan as SSJ Broly would've had no problem beating SSJ Gohan.

Errr... not from what I saw.

And LSSJ Broly was actually having a problem with SSJ Gohan TBH. Whilst he was winning, he wasn't dominating him by any degree.

LSSJ Broly had no problem with Gohan at all. He was about to rip his arms off till he let his guard down and got that lucky shot in.

And that didn't hurt Broly at all. He didn't see it coming which is why he naturally let go of his manhold on Gohan and had to regain his awareness.

The punch in the face didn't affect him like that because he saw it coming. But either way, it wouldn't cause him any pain.

Again, that's not how I saw that at all. I suppose it's all based around your personal orientation.

It's always been a personal desire of mine to have seen SSj2 Gohan and SSj2 Vegeta fight LSSj Broly in Movie 10. I feel it would've been a great show and a great battle.

Broly was never hurt by anyone's attacks until the end of his movies when he's defeated or dies. SSj2 Gohan launched a full force punch into Broly square in the face and Broly smiled his way through it. Gohan's attack was absolutely nothing. And that's proven. I don't think one could explain how exactly Gohan broke free of Broly's hold, but I feel Broly was simply caught off guard while playing around. It's the same as trying to explain how Base Goku knocked Transformed Bojack to the floor with a single punch. I guess one could say it's just for the sake of the plot...and maybe they'd be right, but the facts are obvious here nonetheless about Broly's superiority over Gohan.

Again, depends if you think Gohan was SSJ2 or not.

Personal decisions I guess.

We got different opinions on that, but the essential concept of what I speak of stays the same. Gohan was far outclassed by Broly, whether you believe they were on a lower plain of power or not.
