Broli "sux0rz teh hax0rz". In more than one way. Why so many find depth beyond all the ample clotheshanging and unending screaming is far beyond me. It dupes and zombifies people with sheer whim. Even the barren wasteland in Movie 8 alluded to how boring the fight would be, as though boredom finds itself. It didn't help that it was followed up with more Broli nonsense instead of awesomeness like Movie 5 and 9 (IMHO). Even his Seiyuu and VA sucked. And I still don't see how anyone is of the train of thought that he's the most powerful villain ever.

So, in summation, Broli = pretty explosions, large muscles, and hulk smash (then again, I see the Hulk as an infinitely more intriguing character, but I won't delve into that in this thread as that's clarionly derailing).

I think he's greatly overrated and overpowered but I really don't hate him.

I hate the fact people know that nobody agrees on his power in relation to several specific characters yet still match him up against them over and over again while including fodder. Its just repetitive and unproductive.

There is a fine difference between

Broli's potential limits

and

The power that Broli showed

Broli is strong, no doubt, but at most he'l be Ssj2 if he REALLY went all out seeing as though Ssj2 was considered the real NEXT step above Ssj1 in a similar way that Lssj was.

He has the POTENTIAL to reach Super Saiyan limits in power through his Lssj form, mainly the power of Ssj3. BUT Broli NEVER achieved this because he was disposed of, despite coming back 2 times he still never managed to fully maximized his limits.

Broli is DURABLE, not invincible or god like. Completely different.... considering the Saiyans and Piccolo were not as strong as they could be when they fought him.

Oh and wait... they practiced, got much much stronger, concieved Trunks and Goten.

Who....

held their own quite well against Broly.

There's not much to Broly's character besides his psychotic laughter. He's a maniacal brute, nothing more. I know a lot of people hate Broly because he was big an burly, said little, and ripped the Z fighters up. They were so ripped up actually, that they had to end the movie 8 short and make him die. The best way they saw fit was by combining all the Zet Senshi's powers [which doesn't make sense because their PLs at that point wouldn't even equate to anything significant] and 'do away' with him.

I respect your guys' preferances, but I don't understand the hatred part.
