If Vegeta and Goku were both at SSJ4 then they used the earings to fuse Vegeto would be at SSJ4, idk if he could start at SSJ and ascend upwards.

They still would have to use the Potaras while not transformed or their lifespan would be extremely short. But I was always wondering that if they actually fused on base, could they transform to SS4? (since Vegeta needs that machine)

No they wouldn't.

as I stated in one of my posts above, Vegeto is an entirely different saiyan to Goku and Vegeta. Vegeto has never even been in the Oozaru form yet alone Golden Oozaru, so Super Saiyan 4 would be impossible for Vegeto until he controlled Golden Oozaru, simple as that.

Then you would wonder, if he would have a tail since Goku did but Vegeta got his cut of a long time ago.
It also raises the question could he go SSJ3?
and since Super Buu is long gone, could they defuse somehow, without Shenron, or Porunga's help?

Goku and Vegeta should just use the potaras at base and then Tranform to SS4 then they can go to being the supreme ruler of the universe.

Yeah I've wondered those questions. Anyway do you find it rather lame that they defused when they entered Buu's body? It was very badly justified by the old Kai which only said something like: "Who knows what nasty stuff are inside Buu's body"

Seriously, I found that one of the dumbest reasons for a defuse.

Vegeto could probably reach Ssj3 if he practiced or trained for a few hours, it would only take a few hours with Vegeto due to his immense power.

Obviously if Vegeta was able to reach Ssj3 prior to Potara fusion then Vegeto could reach it instantly no problem, but because Vegeta didn't... Vegeto would have to reach it in the same way Goku did (with training, granted it would take a shorter amount of time and effort)

Potara fusion is forever, Super Buu's stomach acids was an EXTREMELY rare case, but then again Majin Buu is an obscure creature that has broken many law of the universe.

Potara is a technique from the highest gods, not even Shenron or Porunga could match the magic.

Yeah... it's not possible unless they go Golden Oozaru, which requires science again due to Vegeto not having a tale.

It was pretty lame, it also kinda shows that Akira was long done with DBZ.

He should of stayed like that in their, then struggle to free everyone, meaing he would have to copy him self or something.
Then would somehow get out and kill Kid Buu.

Next he would either stay like that forever or somehow defuse.

The Potara earings are infused with the power of the highest gods of the universe, Shenron and Porunga are infused with only powers of gods of certain planets, you have to think about this logically. The Dragonball's magic may have little effect in reversing Potara's magic.

Not one source really, just general observations.

Shenron (well the green Shenron anyway) was made by Kami AFTER he had excelled the evil side (King Piccolo) from his body, thus Kami was much weaker. He did this to achieve status as god of Earth.

Thus, Shenron is infused with the power of the Planet Earth.

Just like Porunga is infused with the power of Planet Namek.

They are each able to reverse the effects of their respective planets, like reversing all the people that were killed by Majin Buu ON Earth say.

However the Potara earings are a product of the Kaioshins, who are not gods of planets... but of clusters of galaxies. As you can see, Potara is made with much greater magic than Shenron.

Shenron can't wish everything, such as killing people. Also if someone is wished back to life once they can't be wished back again, Shenron has quite a few drawbacks.

One of the drawbacks being not able to reverse the effect of Kaioshin's magic.


When Kaioshins say the effects of Potara are in-reversable, they mean it!
