Something I'd like to remark about Goku smiling often, well, he can't help it - it's in his nature, he is an angst free hero after all. Just like Goku, all the characters do their typical crap in the movies... Vegeta being cantankerous and jeering everyone, then moaning about how nobody's allowed to destroy Goku but him, Kuririn being craven, Piccolo taunting his enemies or the antagonist in a rather lame fashion, the heroes getting badly beaten and then winning by some cheap power up or energy attaining in the end, and so forth.

To be frank, all SSJBulma was saying was that Trunks would have ended up just as nonchalant as Vegeta had Bulma not been around to quell that nature. It has nothing to do with his anger, just that he would have ended up an infinitely more fatalistic person had he been raised by Vegeta alone. Maybe you inferred that she was talking about Trunks keeping his fighting drive in check?

about goku's mother..well..when i saw that scene from the movie it seemd like the sayains life style was all about sex,drinks and violence..

its when bardock went to warn the sayains about freeza's betrayal..they showed the sayains in a bar doing what they thinks its "FUN".

where i am getting at is goku's mom could be just a ..ehm..a prostitute

so probably the creators just didn't want goku's fans to think that his mom is a just one night stand..if you know what i mean lol..

you know whats really cliche when goku says "I will defeat you!" to every villian and after he gets beaten up by the villian he somehow defeats the villian.

.I don't think that any Saiyan woman(or man) would be a prostitute.I remember the bar scene as well and where I agree with you that they were all boozing ect there's nothing to even suggest anyone let alone Goku's mother would be a prostitute.They are all equal and powerful and don't seem to want for anything(materialwise)

This cliche is limpid in both the Dragonball Z Anime and Manga as well - it's called relativity. Yes, it's all relative, and as Tensa put in another thread, Dragonball is about breaking through the wall of your limits and reaching new heights.
