DBGT Perfect Files

just wondering why would toei release such a thing like the perfect files??

are they trying to prove some things to the fans?

anyway i got this from the MFG site and it looks like its trunks...

anyway the perfect files explains every character history and PL i guess..so did toei create the perfect files because GT has no manga and toei just wanted to explain more about the series??

Well, the other DB series got a 10-part series of in-depth books (the Daizenshuu), covering a wide range of things about the franchise. GT, being "only" 64 episodes, wasn't worth devoting an entire Daizenshuu to, but it was enough for those two pocket-sized paperbacks.

I think you mean "were." The books were released back in 1997, and have been out of print for quite some time.

Actually, it explains the story, the characters, and various other elements of the series, but no power levels. Remember, such measures of strength weren't used after the Freeza arc in DBZ.

Some highlights of the books include:

revealing of name puns for many of the new characters
character and mechanical design work by Akira Toriyama (he drew the main cast as they appear in the series [minus SSJ4], as well as Giru and the ship)
a complete rundown of the episodes, their airdates, and what happens in them
a dictionary of GT-related terms
and other stuff.

(And if you haven't guessed already, I'm lookin' at 'em right now.
