Do any of you think Cell would have looked different if he absorbed android 18 before android 17? If you do, what would he look like then. I think the final outcome would end up looking like Perfect Cell still, but if he was to get android 18 and stay like that he would look different.

I don't think Cell would look any different. Whether he absorbed #18 before he absorbed #17 shouldn't really have an impact on what he'd look like.

who knows as 18 was less powerful then 17 so if anything he would have been less developed looking more like his first form then his perfect form

Either order had the androids been absorbed in would not effect how cell looked in any of his forms, he would've still looked the same in his Semi-Perfect and Perfect stages, he just stated that he needed to absorbed the androids, he never stated that there was a particular order that he had to absorb them in.

No matter how cell absorbed the androids, he would've still turned out the same way. Why do people fret over such a useless subject? He only needed the bio-fusion (whatever it is, I prefer to call it that) with the androids in order to achieve his perfect form, he still would've had the two same transformations.

The only way Cell might have looked different in his second form was if he absorbed Cyborg 18 first, but he would have become the perfect Cell we all know after he eventually got 17.

Now, speaking on my own retarded speculation, I think that he would have looked different only in his second form if he'd absorbed Cyborg 18 first. Anybody who has really paid attention to the way Cell's body reacts after absorbing one of the cyborgs would know that when he absorbed Cyborg 17, he became much more masculine, whereas when he finally nabbed Cyborg 18 to become perfect, his build became somewhat feminine again.

Assuming he'd gotten Cyborg 18 first, and also assuming his body really did incorportate masculine/feminine traits from the cyborgs as he'd obtained them, he probably would have gotten a very slender build and possibly a lighter/scratcher voice, but then would have beefed up to the same ol' perfect Cell once he'd balanced his chromosome pool by getting some more manliness in his system, ala Cyborg 17.

Pretty screwed up concept when you realize that my speculation would mean that Cell's pretty much a transexual, but then again, when has anything I've said made sense?

That's an interesting theory believe it or not, really weird, but interesting none-the-less. I guess his semi-perfect form might change a little, but that's pretty doubtful since cell never really stated what would've happened depending on the order he absorbed the androids in, probably because he himself didn't even know what the transformations were going to be like.

Well Cell never absorbed 18 before 17, so we don't know what the result might be, he may end up changing genders...

Remember Perfect Cell can reproduce and have Cell Jr's... and that was as a result of absorbing 18.

Cell returning back to Perfect Cell could be a result as part of Cell design and then again it could be a franchise element or something Akira was persuaded to concede with.
