Their going to do Ultimate Uncut Editions for the first three movies as far as I know. At least that's what it said on the Goku vs. Vegeta Featurette, so meh, I don't know.

Yes, this too. Only because Pioneer handled the dubbing and distribution of these first three movies. Funimation just wants to put their very own version out, using their own dubbing studio and distribution.
