What if Bardock...

Hey If Bardock survived Frieza's death ball somehow, do you think he would have trained to be stronger than Goku? I think that he might have done this because in the short movie we saw of him his power increased alot from the start of the movie to the end.

The only way Bardock could fit in is if Goku had died on Planet Namek, and then Bardock could have easily took over Goku's role in the Cell Games.

Bardock was never really evil. He just did what he was told. At the end of the movie, he realizes how wrong what Frieza was making him do was. That's why he revolted. And I'm not talking about where he fits in the series, I'm asking if he would have kept getting stronger would he be stronger than Goku.

Yes Bardock's potential is greater than Goku's but it is less than Future Trunks and Gohan's.

It may be that Bardock may have had a stronger potential then Goku but most likely not.

In the movie (which yes, does not count) Bardock is ashamed at Goku's PL of 2.
Is he ashamed because he son is weak or maybe Bardock was just as weak as a child and is ashamed that his son was not stronger.

Both Goku and Bardock have a tendancy to get themselves absolutely raped in battle and in turn receive a zenkai.

Im not sure that Bardock would have been as strong as Goku if he had lived as Goku strived to be the best, from what we see Bardock did not.

i bet bardock would be amazingly strong, i dont know exactly were u mean as strong (or stronger) than goku in the series...im thinkin bardock would prob be stronger than goku in the frieza saga but like buu saga idk...i bet it runs in the family guy, high powers and all...

neway, he might not be cause he has that future sight thing (w/e its called lol) so he may see stuff that could mess up his trainin if he did...like him maybe not bein stronger than any1 and he might say screw it or somethin...

uhmm..this is not just a movie..its actually a special which is part of the anime aswell

anyway bardock will probably be as strong as vegeta ..i mean at the end of Z but who really knows..

Nappa isn't an average saiyan, he is a saiyan general.

Bardock has amazing potential, he just never bothered to train, because all saiyan potential grows as they age. Training became completely oblivious to them, Vegeta had understood what training was from the Z-fighters and learned about the gravity room from someone and started using it.

Yeh i knew it was a special however i didnt think that it had much to to with Toriyama's story line.

Nappa reached Saiyan elite, you arnt born one, it would be the same as being promoted in an army.

Bardok wasnt really seen to be shown training, then again he wasnt stated to have not trained, most of his power came from zenkias.

He was much weaker then chibi vegeta who would have become much stronger then he was then till when he fought Goku

bardock became stronger than kid vegeta.. remember when he gets a blast from dadoria and he still barely survived.. that means bardock PL surpassed nappa's!

never thought of that part.

i cant rememeber correctly but did vegeta ever actully fight dodoria besides the time when he killed him or was he always just scarred of his strength?

no he was just scared of him..since he still a kid and he has such a huge PL for his age

Well, I always thought he was evil. The saiyans took pleasure in killing. Even when Vegeta got his chance, he destroyed many planets without Frieza telling him. So, the saiyans are killers. And Broly was the same. Now, if Bardock had survived, he probably would have went to earth and either tried to do like Raditz did, or just live with his son. I have no idea.
