Actually, DBZ movies 1, 2, and 3 already were released completely uncut. On VHS, DVD, and LaserDisc, no less.

The reason they're re-releasing the movies is to maintain consistency with their current voice cast. Nothing more, nothing less. We get Steve Simmon's translations on the Japanese side, which is an added bonus, though...

Don't believe any claims of new footage never-before-seen; there was nothing cut from the original joint-FUNimation/Pioneer releases of these movies. If anything, they're simply referring to the Japanese-text in the ending credits... nothing else was visually edited.
