ok this is what i dont get.. why do people like Goku so much? i mean he is such a loser!! we all know that vegeta is the one Dragon ball Z GT is about...Post your thoughts

I have no idea what your talking about. Goku was oblivously the main character in Z...he was always the strongest. Vegeta was always getting beat down, then Goku would step in and beat who ever it was fighting, with a couple of exceptions. And Vegeta was hardly in GT. It was all bout Goku being the hero. This has been stated all over the forum.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Vegeta is not the one that DBZGT is the focus of. Goku is. Vegeta is my favorite character, but Goku is the hero. Vegeta is all about himself while Goku is all about caring about everybody else more than himself.

other than he is the main character in the whole dragonball trilogy..

it just doesn't feel right if goku wasn't there you know..my favourite character is future trunks and i wish he is the main character but still..it feels strange if goku wasn't there you know what i mean

character of Z? Nah! I wouldn't... I mean, you can get tired of Goku and
in the anime he's quite dumb sometimes. (not in the Z manga!) But he
always saves earth and gives advice.

GOS, Goku hasn't always been stronger than Vegeta.
In saiyan saga, Vegeta was stronger than Goku. In base.
Same in the Namek.

After that, Goku had been stronger.(Excluding the time when he was sick)

And, Goku is so popular, because:

1) He is good.

2) He is strong.

3) He ain't a coward.

and stuff like that.

I think Goku sucks and Vegeta sucks even more.

Goku's got the brain of a wallnut and Vegeta betrays every single person he can as often as the chance is there. And he whines allot. Freakin baby!

Raditz and Piccolo are the best characters in Z to me.

AT wanted Gohan to be the main character but Goku fanboys kept wanting more Goku

Goku is my second favorite hero after Mirai Trunks. Also, he is infinitely better than that piece of rubbish otherwise known as Vegeta.

DBZ should be proud to have Goku. Without him, Frieza would have Gohan, Krillin, Piccolo, and Vegeta faster, if Goku weren't there on the planet Namek to turn Super Saiyan during the time when Krillin was killed and Frieza would have destroyed the planet.

Alternative:

Frieza would not only kill off the rest of the Z-fighters on the Planet Namek, but possiblly would have made the planet itself another one of his bases of operations to conquer the Earth faster. Thus, he wouldn't need his father King Cold to do that.

Yup, if Goku weren't there at all, there would be no Savior of the Universe to look up to and protect. Plus, the entire DBZ series would have entirely be the worse anime ever, all because they didn't have someone very useful in combat like Goku.

Still, I also find him this useful: If it weren't for Goku transforming into his newly aquired Super Saiyan 3 form to show Trunks and Goten what it looks like, they would have never become SS3 Gotenks, just SS.
