Well DBGT really isnt that bad...but it is NO WHERE near as good is DB, DBZ.

DBGT wud be a decent show if DBZ was never made. Coz DBZ was so gud ppl expected better from GT which sucked compared to DBZ.

I do think GT is a "excuse" for making more DB.
GT can be pretty okay to watch sometimes, but just when I'm bored.
Z and original is the best series, and GT sucks compared to them...

anyway..what i think about dbgt..there is things i like in it more then DBZ like ssj4..

the best thing DBGT did is makeing goku to have his tail back and ssj4 goku and vegeta...

I don't think GT is as bad as some people. I do think DBZ is better, but I do think GT has some decent moments. I really do not care at all for the Bebe saga until Bebe makes it to Earth and then I think it finally starts getting interesting. I think mainly because the other characters like Goten, Gohan, Vegeta, etc., are then in it and it isn't all about Goku, Trunks and Pan. Like many, I can't stand Pan's winey, bossy personality (she reminds me alot of Chi Chi). But, I think the thing I dislike the most about GT is that Goku is a kid again. That was already done in Dragonball. Plus Goku does not have the same abilities as a child that he does as an adult. Probably the thing I like the best about GT is Goku going SSJ4. And I do think as GT progresses, it does get better.

I loved GT, though it is nothing compared to Z, it had some good moments. I think SSJ4 is a kool looking form. The Shadow Dragons were a good concept & pretty darn kool.

Overall, I think that DBGT is a pure waste. I mean, be realistic here. It was clearly shown at the end of DBZ that Goku wanted Uub to be his successor. Instead of building upon this idea, TOEI went ahead and used GT as a series in which Goku does everything. There is too much focus on Goku in DBGT. In order to prove this, just think of your favorite fights in GT. Logic dictates that they'll be, "Goku vs. .......", "SSJ Goku vs. ....", SSJ4 Goku vs. .....". TOEI had a world of opportunities for GT, but they've all been put to shame. In addition to this, there is a wealth of contradictions and confusions in this anime. In the late Bebi Saga, it is shown that Majuub (fusion of Uub and Mr. Buu) was very much stronger than SSJ3 Chibi Goku. All of a sudden, when the Super 17 "saga" starts (which was basically right after the Bebi Saga timewise), Majuub becomes much weaker than SSJ Chibi Goku. What kind of nonsense is this? What happened to Majuub's power? DBZ has some of these confusions as well, but DBGT takes them up to a whole new level. I could ramble on and on, but I haven't got the time. In its totality, GT is a genuine failure in my eyes.

True. They also wasted characters like Gohan, Vegeta, Piccolo, Goten (Gotenks aswell), Majubb (who, like Mirai Trunks said, should hav been stronger), Tien, Krillen etc. Goku being the main character is fine but not using the other characters as much is wrong. GT has boring storylines and they are really short.

To Become Stronger! Goku's Dream is to Surpass it!!

Quite frankly, what you just said is false and irrelevant. The title of Volume 42 Chapter 519 of the manga is "Bye-Bye, Dragon World." As you can see, it says nothing about Goku wanting to get stronger. Goku simply goes off on a new adventure and trains Uub.

Dragonball GT essentially sums up all the flaws of the DBZ Anime and Movies and then throws them into a witches pot, mixing them together. Oh, but then add some cow crap and viola.

GT did not take very many aspects from the good sides of the DBZ Anime, and I know it was not based on the DB Manga, that's for sure.

The Bebi Saga was based on a Filler scene in the Saiyan Saga.

The Super 17 Saga was based on a series of Fillers throughout the DBZ Anime.

The Shadow Dragon Saga was actually a good idea, but ended up sucking.


And the fact they felt the need to take away Chao and give Goku SS4...so much of it was crap and took the DBZ outrageous mainstream stereotypes and MADE THEM INTO REALITY.

For that, it cannot be forgiven. GT is not the worst show to ever exist, but it's certainly the crappiest of anything Dragonball - Next to DBZ Movie 4.

honestly DBGT is my favorite out of all the DBs, but DBZ is very close to it.
