Could Buu have been stronger if he was released,
Do you think that staying in the ball all that time actually decreased Fat Buu's powers? I know he gets much more powerful after being out a while, but did being sealed up for that long take away from his maximum potential power?

Yes it did because if he was stronger Babidi would've relased him without arbsorbing anyone's energy. It decreased his power. the energy Gohan gave him and the fight between Goku and Vegeta gave him his orginale power before he was sealed away.

To further add to this . . .
If Yamu and Soppovich would have succeeded in stealing all of Gohan's Super Saiyan 2 powers, Fat Majin Buu would have gotten stronger and if the Supreme Kai had failed to prevent this from happening. Yet, if Majin Buu were able to gain Gohan's power and add it to his own, this would certainly affect the battle against Super Saiyan 2 Majin Vegeta and had him ultimately killed faster. Thus, Vegeta sacrifice to killing Buu would never happen. |

Strange.
I thought the Supreme Kai did something to Gohan to prevent his powers from being sucked right out of him. Either that, or Surpreme must have done something to mess up the Power Level Detector that Yamu was handling to make them thing its has Gohan's powers. |

Man, that's sad to see Gohan robbed of his Super Saiyan 2 powers. Still, Buu would have been even stronger if they have gotten someone with even more Saiyan powers: Vegeta.

No Buu's power wouldn't increase only the energy put into the ball to resurect Majin Buu would have increased. Buu has a set energy that is needed to resurect him to be at full power. Adding more energy just decreases how much more energy is needed to get him at full power, which was achieved after the energy Goku gave as a SSj2 by fighting Vegeta.

Youch, I bet Fat Buu got all the energy he hungered for when he still wanted to get out of his sphere prison. Still, how could Buu be all that weak when he got a lot of power from Gohan and the battle with SS2 Goku & SS2 Vegeta?
