lets see here..the old kai says to gohan i will release all of your potential..

meaning that gohan can't get any stronger even if he trains as hell...

the old kai saved him the trouble of training all those 7 years and in about 1 day he released all of his power.. so weather he trained or not he won't get any stronger than a mystic..

the only way for gohan to become stronger than a mystic is to find new transformation.. other than ssj1 and 2

the old kai raised his PL that he can't GET ANY HIGHER no more...

he raised his base form to the fullist...his base form became stronger than a transformation (ssj1 and 2)

why do you think when picolo saw gohan fighting and he was impressed by his power and he thought if he did transoform into a ssj he could get even stronger but actually gohan didn't transform into ssj because it won't make him any powerfull..

and mystic isn't a transformation that you can reach it by training ..its just a power level raise...i don't even know why they call it mystic in the first place but i guess it has to do with the old kais..or probably the term power level raise already been used(guru made kurrin and gohan alot stronger)

yes the ssj transformation is much better... but gohan's potential seemed to be stronger than a ssj2 so why not use it instead of useing ssj2 which he already did and failed..

and ya i know there is no limit to someones power but according to the old kai he said he will release all of gohan's potentail meaning all of his power

so if all of your power has been released then it means he won't get any stronger..but if he kept his training after that PL raise or mystic power then atleast he won't lose it..

goku also wanted his potentail to be released but the old kai told him there is somthing better which is the fusion technique

Old Kai actually said he would realease Gohan HIDDEN potention. So all of the stuff he was holding back.

So If he had turned SSJ if would of increased is power. Woldnt it?

no he won't...

after the power raise his base form became stronger than ssj1 and ssj2

so whats the use of turning into ssj anymore... we saw in GT gohan turns ssj because that base form of his got weak from lack of training...

there is no facts and most importantly the old kai never say the word permanent..

unlocking someone's potential doesn't mean its permanent..it simply raise your PL to the max that you won't be able to get any stronger..

Seeings as DP didn't post...

The Elder Kaioshin, in his ritual, basically took Gohans DNA and rearranged it in such a manner that Gohan's body could ever handle. EVER.

After that, he took Son Gohan's Ki and he rearranged that so it would be in place for Gohan's body to use it all to his bodies very fullest. By this, he was able to use the absolute limit that his body could ever EVER put off or access ever in his life.

As such, "Mystic" or "Chao" Gohan is the very highest Gohan can ever go, no matter what training, powerup, transformation, or anything else he ever used. It was his limit.

If he had become Super Saiyan or Super Saiyan 2, his hair would have changed and his power would've stayed the same. There would be no difference.

If he had trained, no difference would have been made. He might've become better skilled, but that's it.

Toei, when they made GT, made the excuse that he "Lost" that powerup from not training so that he was as strong as he was at the begining of the Babidi Saga.

GT Gohan in no way is the same as Chao Gohan. GT Gohan was not unlocked.

Piccolo's statement, "If he went Super Saiyan he would destroy the Earth!" was based on the assumption that Gohan could, and saying that if he increased his power by however much stronger he got from it before, it would destroy Earth. However, Gohan was incapable of going Super Saiyan and if he had it wouldn't have increased his power. Piccolo was unaware of the Elder Kaioshin's powerup in that statement. It was out of pure ignorance.

Does that make sense to everyone?
