Even I must say I think you're overestimating Gotenks just alittle. SSj3 Gotenks could probably beat Goku in 30 seconds. I'd give him 5-10 minutes against SSj Gotenks.

Many fighters have been stronger than Goku and he always found a way to win e.g. Goku vs Kid buu, Goku vs Omaga Shenron, Goku vs Hildegarn <--- (dunno how its spelt)

Well, yeah, I do believe that 30 seconds is an exaggeration. However, I'm just trying to get across the point that SSJ Gotenks is indeed stronger than SSJ3 Goku, especially after he trains in the RoSaT.

Ignore manga; hell no. Goku stated that Gotenks would be stronger than him in Ssj, he didn't even know that Gotenks could go Ssj3. So what you are saying is that Gotenks would lose under an Ssj3? No I don't think so.

Ok lets review here...

goku ssj3 and fat buu were fighting..

then goku powers down and tells fat buu that in two days a strong fighter will come to you and fight you.. then fat buu says is he really strong then goku says unbelievely...

and thats all what goku said.. he didn't say gotenks is stronger than him..and later on goku was talking to kebeto kai and tells him that gotenks is hundleing ssj3 like a pro and it took me years of training..

again he didn't say gotenks was stronger than him...plus goten and trunks spend like a day in the hyper bolic time champer not a full year...so they didn't get as strong as ussj or future trunks..

Just because he didn't say it, doesn't mean it isn't true. What the heck do you mean by they couldn't beat Ussj Trunks? Gotenks in Ssj form could beat Majin Buu, again Goku never knew that Gotenks could go Ssj3. But he knew if Gotenks went Ssj he could beat Buu. Then Super Buu comes along, Gotenks could handle Super Buu by himself, where Goku clearly states that he at Ssj3 and Vegeta at Ssj2 could'be beat him.
