This is a lead on from a discussion i was having in the strongest fighter thread.
Basically what its says....
Is chou gohans mystic powers a permanent thing ie. he is always mystic and would most probably kill a normal human being from touching them (little bit exagerated)
or is it a transformation ie. he transforms into mystic when he fights much the same way that super saiyan is acheived?

Its suppose to be permenant, GT is filler so it doesn't count.

Its like Controlled Super Saiyan and Guru's Unlock Potential rolled into one.

Yes it does, it proves that using material out side the manga jurisdiction is completely irrelevant. GT has Gohan no longer using mystic saiyan, but since GT has no manga it is irrelevant.

well.. i am not sure about the manga but i know in the anime its considered like a power raise.. just like what guru did to kurrin and gohan!

That is correct and that power rise (Guru's potential unlock) became permanent with the two.

Its pretty much the same as that, but to unleash all of Gohan's potential.

But since he is a saiyan he would need to power up vigorously to invoke it. But its nothing more than his maximum power without being a super saiyan.

I personally believe that Gohan's Chou form is both a transformation and permanent.

mystic gohan is permenent, because he remains that way all through dbz, but in dbgt everything is wierd and there is no manga for it

Well you see Cell's transformations and Piccolo's fusions were really both transformations and permanent base forms, except for when Gohan knock the 18 out of Cell, but he shows that superior form is truely his base form, when he comes back.

I say Mystic Gohan is a transformation, but in terms of a potential unlock than an actual transformation. So its really just a power boast, which is like a transformation without any specific physical signs of being a transformation.
