Well, Rou Kaioushin tells Gohan to "do that SSJ thing" in order to activate the Chou powers. Any DBZ fan knows that "doing that SSJ thing" means transforming into SSJ. In other words, Rou Kaioushin just told Gohan to transform. This is how I see Gohan's Chou form as a transformation.

As for being permanent, it is shown that Gohan is able to retain this Chou form for extended periods of time. Even after getting utterly thrased by Super Buu 2, Gohan is still able to retain his Chou form.

You also have to remember that Cell's transformations are both as well, they are perminent (with the exception of having the 18 kicked out of him) and they are transformations.

It could be a permanent tranformation like Controlled super saiyan was suppose to be like.

that is true so i guess mystic gohan is both a transformation and it is permanent

well what i am saying here is.. if its a power raise its not a permanent thing..

like if you stop working out you will get weak or fat!!!..lol

and toei or AT didn't explain it to much for some reason..they probably think gohan wasn't good enough to end the series or somthing..

anyway toei assumed its a power raise like a one time thing and if you don't keep up your training you will lose it eventually! and we all know gohan became a book worm at the end of Z!

i actually voted for (i don't know) but now i wish i didn't because i just discovered somthing.. if you pay attenton closely you will see when gohan powers up his eyes changed to blue! and only a transformtion can do that!

Permanent is something that can never be reversed, no matter how hard you try. (eg. Cutting off your hand, and Namekians are exceptions)

A transformation, on the other hand, is something that can be reversed very easily, simply by calming down.

Now, throughout the course of the DBZ series, it appears as though Gohan's "Mystic" form is permanent.

However, if you look at GT, you see that... Poof! It just disappears all of a sudden.

I have no idea as to why GT was screwed up like that, so I don't know whether to ignore it or not. If you go by DBZ, it's permanent. If you go by GT, it's not.

but unlike in the 7 years after cell we dont know if gohan got any waeker after kid buu is destoyed

No actually Gohan never went super saiyan and I think he didn't bother doing so anyways.

Besides he appear to be perfect fine after having his butt literally kicked in more places than I could count by Buutenks.

I mean he had super saiyan 2, which is going super saiyan after going super saiyan, if going mystic saiyan just required doing the super saiyan thing, then going mystic super saiyan should be a piece of cake, because remember Gohan can go SSJ2 or atleast before he went mystic.

That is simply because TOEI never knew what they were doing when they made GT, and that is just one of the reasons for why it stopped.

Oh, and Cell's transformation is, technically, permanent, as mangamandragonball pointed out. He couldn't have just spat out Android 18 at any moment, and he would have no reason to anyway.

anyways we never no if gohan got weaker or stayed the same after buu died. we only no he didnt get stronger
