Bardock: Father of Goku

After seeing the history behind Goku's farther, I see no sign of Raditz. Don't you think Raditz should of made an apperance as baby form? Or was he not born yet?

When Raditz first saw Goku, he stated "You look just like father." This indicates that Raditz has seen Bardock. However, I don't know why he wasn't in the movie.

Yea that's weird. There's no way Raditz could of seen Bardock physically, he died a within a couple of hours after Goku was departured for earth.

Try to remember in the Anime. When Freiza destroyed the Planet Vegeta during the Bardock movie. Prince Vegeta, Nappa, Raditz and Goku were the only ones sent away from the Planet on missions while it was destroyed. Maybe that could be why he wasn't around.

Radditz didn't hit his head, so he probably wiped out his first planets pretty fast, and returned after each of them. So he'd probably seen his father on planet Bejita while they were both done with a mission at the same time. It would've been great if they'd shown it in the movie, but I don't think Radditz was that much older than Gokuh, so he could've been just a little boy when the planet Bejita was destroyed.

Yeah, I think it's interesting that there was no mention of Raditz in the movie. I think it's also interesting that you never see nor hear any mention of Goku's or Vegeta's mother. Apparently in the Saiyan society, females were just around to pop the kids out and then go about their business while someone else tended to the infants.

There is a few female saiyans in there, but not the mothers od Goku and Vegeta, I think they should have made SOME appearance, seeing Radditz would have been nice, but I guess nobody thought of that during the making of the movie. Beh!

My theory about it is that there are very few females in the Saiyan society who were worthy of being some kind of soldier, so there was most likely some kind of "breeding group" of females, who really did nothing more than that. That would explain the lack of a lot of females around the groups, since there's only like .. three I remember seeing in the entire movie--Fasha, and two women at the bar.

If there was any importance other than she gave birth to Goku, I'm sure his mother would have been mentioned. She played no role in his life after that, anyway.

Vegeta's mother may have been killed by Frieza before the movie. The movie is mostly based on Bardock.

She was killed in the movie. Hence the only surviving Saiyans being the ones that eventually went to Earth?
