I didn't saw him at the lookat, you just see him and a bunch of good background and then you see the Namekians being imprisoned by a bunch Robotic Drones.

Maybe u shud open ur eyes a bit more durin a movie. Dende is at the lookout with mr popo and he says he senses a disturbance on his home planet

No Dende was above Earth at the lookout because Mr. Popo is there and TOEI uses the famous red belt for Piccolo which appears first here and stays until his last movie, number 8, signifying the fusion of Kami and Piccolo.

I fixed the link, and for some reason the image area for Movie 6 got rearranged. I think it's based on hits or something, because not one hour ago it was totally different.
