Seems like logical way to explain the Potara fusion of Gogeto.
after the Gogeta fusion wears off it would be as if it were a three way fusion of Vegeto, Goku and Vegeta. Which would result in Vegeto again seeing as Vegeto adopted clothing and personality from Goku and Vegeta anyway, maybe there would be a slight personality change to resemble Gogeta more but i'm not certain. So Gogeto after a while would become a stronger Vegeto (perhaps not even needing to go Ssj).
2 Vegetos fused under Potara would result with a Vegeto having 2 earings on each ear, the colour pattern of the boots and clothes being reversed and a massive increase in power (bigger than the Vegeto after 30 minutes in the Gogeto fusion).
2 Vegetos fused under the fusion dance would simply be the weakest of the three possible extra Vegeto combinations being the Fusion Dance. It would simply look like Vegeto with Gogeta's outfit, maybe with a bit of Gogeta's personality coming through. This technically could be the Fusion Dance variety of Gogeto too.

Potara Earings in general,
Goku and Vegeta can never use the Potara earings again.
Vegeto is an entirely different saiyan remember, he isn't really a fused warrior but one warrior with the mind of 2 becoming 1.
So technically, Vegeto has never actually used the Potara earings to fuse.
