In order to create a good remake of GT, you need to go back and look at what made Toriyama's written Dragon Ball such a success. GT isn't bad simply because of the plot holes, there are other hidden elements in GT that made it suck, and people might not even notice these reasons:

Toriyama's Dragon Ball was unhindered with it's imaginative elements, GT was not. GT was nothing more then mindless fighting, there is no imaginative depth to stories like that.

All of Toriyama's characters' personalities are strong and abstract, even the minor characters. In GT, not even Goku's personality was strong. Whoever wrote Goku for GT made him dull and unexciting.

Toriyama's story is both random and simple, there's not much emotional depth to the story, but with the expansive imaginative element of it, it doesn't need to be.

I think that there is one BIG thing u should do and thats have goku want to meet his father and have bardock wished back with the dragonballs

You guys forget to realise, that DBZ is over 10years old, we expect something better than DBZ now. I mean look at it this way: we only still except it because c'mon its DBZ at the end of the day. We excepted it back then, and we still do now, anything that people do now with DBZ risks being overlooked believe me I know...

Yeah, I know. We had like 50 threads in the AF section all of them telling that they would make a new series and they needed help. They all appeared so confident but in the end, they did nothing. So it's useless hoping for a fan-made series.

Good luck with "remaking" GT...Though I don't see the point as the whole series is being stretched passed its original purposes, but if you've put your mind to it then listen up for some advice (if you want it):

1. The plot should not be focused on Goku. Uub or Gohan is the way to go.

2. Restore Gohan's Ultimate Form

3. Try to do without the SSJ4 and Golden Oozaru. Stick with SSJ3

4. Keep Majin Uub. He rules.

5. FIX THE DAMN PLOT HOLES.

6. Goku doesn't belong as a kid anymore.

7. Put a good word in about me. (kidding)

This advice is just my opinion...and you shouldn't go back and use it if you have already started.

Remake GT using DIY methods:
-Old fashion fan artists, graphic designers, and comp techs.
-Scanners, computers, multimedia programs.
-Upload the videos, and let the world enjoy.

It'll take a helluva lot of time, but if all works well, it wouldn't disappoint.
It'd also miss out on the original casts' voice dubbing, but oh well.

But, there have been rumors of a Manga being made of a new Dragon Ball series. But I herd that awhile back. At least this forum might accomplish something like that "eManga" every month. (I want to see a Evil goku)

I'm tired of these "new" DB series being created.
If there fillers, I guess I can be more lenient on the topic, but things have already gotten out of hand that we don't need anymore destruction to the DB/Z series.

Rumors like that have been around for (literally) years. Since 1999 if I can remember correctly, when that SSj5 Goku pic surfaced. Nothing official can be made without Toriyama's consent, he still owns the rights to the series. Toriyama has even stated that Dragon Ball is done.

i think it s impossible for you to the remake of gt..you will probbally used all scenes seen before in dbz and gt and just cu some things
