Conditions for this fight - they both start out in those states already, and they're both serious and intent on killing each other.

Well, even though Nnoitra was stronger, when they both fought at base the gap didn't seem that large, and it's just my guess that the gap between the espada on the stronger half would be larger than that. Though nothing says it's consistent, Ulquiorra is just two ranks higher than Grimmjow, and a lot stronger, so I tend to imagine the gap between Nnoitra and Grimmjow as being less narrow than what difference we saw between Nnoitra and Nel. I also know that arrancar releases aren't consistent with their affects on power, however assuming just for the sake of the argument that the power-type adjucha class espada releases were in the same range, Nel should have this, since the difference between Ichigo and Grimmjow is barely worth mention. There's really no right or wrong answer to this one, though. Whatever I say is gonna be a guess.
