Probaly Kenpachi if Gin is only allowed Shikai , which is weird because I can't see Ichigo beating Gin at the time he fought Kenpachi.

Unreleased Gin was able to tie up Kenpachi and Shun-Po a few hundred meters over to a far rooftop in the blink of an eye.

Without the eyepatch, Kenpachi would probably force him to Bankai, but that'd probably be the end of the line as well.

I sincerely think it could go either way. Although, it's true that Gin can only release his shikai in bursts, so his reiatsu shouldn't constantly be that high, probably. Dunno.

I don't think Kenpachi would take Gin seriously. =/

If Gin can do reach-arounds (A.K.A. Freddy Swench's) with Shinso to constrict Kenpachi... then I suppose Gin could win. Otherwise, Kenpachi would not have any problems.

Yeah, I know. Which is why I was asking about the need to constrict Kenpachi. It's like poking someone with a gun instead of loading it and blowing their face off.

Yeah, that doesn't make since at all. Please re-evaluate yourself. Gin shooting off Shinso to wrap around Kenpachi with the back of it's blade doesn't make sense, because if it did so with the edge, it would potentially cut him in half. Cutting is a much better option that constricting. Especially against someone like Kenpachi.

Kenpachi would use his sword/reiatsu (aka The Diamond Sheild) to block Shinso's direct shot if it was coming in a straight line towards him.
(Hence my retarded analogy)

I did not specify that the back of the blade was going to be facing Kenpachi (which would be kindof retarded unless he was going to use hakudo as the offensive attack); he can probrably force Shinso to stretch in a certain form to where the edge is facing the opponent.

You said constrict him, which implies that he's not going to be cut. Hence, back of the blade. But anyhow, problem resolved. This discussion can continue on it's previously scheduled course.

I'm thinking Gin could take this with speed blitzing. Kenpachi isn't incredibly fast from what he's shown (Or even fast at all. He's a tank).

Hm, I have not seen Gin fight enough battles to properly analyse his strength and ability, and considering the fact that Kenpachi easily defeated two captains that had their bankai released, I will have to presume that Kenpachi would win, if Strength is what settles the final blow. Kendo style.

There's still the bit where Gin tied up Kenpachi and Shunpo'd a rooftop away with him before Kenpachi could do anything. Even though that was intened as humor, I think it should be considered that Gin is a pretty good bit faster than Kenpachi. The speed aspect seems to be important since all of the people Kenpachi has fought are relatively slow, like he is.
