Noitora's dead, his character had about as much meaning as Apollo or Zomari, as much as I hate to admit it. Grimmjow will probably be alive even though he's been lying on the ground bleeding for about an hour or so.

I'm going to guess both are still alive.
Nnoitora's "death" to me was just too sudden. For a character Kubo went through all the trouble of giving a background, it'd seemed weird if he just got offed like that. I think he has some unfinished business, as Nikushimi said. Grimmjow is definitely still alive.
