I've recently started to watch Bleach (the anime; original Japanese + English subtitles). Currently I am at episode 103 and I have a couple of questions. So, sorry if they seem nooby

-Is the whole Bounto arc filler?

-What is the latest episode at the moment?

-How much time does it take to release a new episode?

-Will the episode production continue even in summer break?

-Is Bleach near its ending?; Approximately how long will the artist continue to produce Bleach? (interviews?)

-How old are these characters if it was ever stated: Renji, Rukia, Byakuya?

1) Yes.

3) Usually one week. New subbed episodes are usually released sometime on Friday.

4) Starting from this week, a new filler arc starts to let the manga get ahead of the anime. It will apparently last quite a while. We'll see what happens from there, but it will probably continue normally.

5) Opinions vary, nothing official has been revealed yet. As it seems, we do still have quite a while to go, if Kubo decides to continue with more arcs after Aizen is defeated. The flashback chapters will last at least a month longer. After that, we'll see how it goes.

6) The current flashback chapters show Byakuya as a child, about 16 years old maybe? And these take place over 100 years before the main storyline begins, so Byakuya is about 120 years old, probably. Renji and Rukia are of the same age. Rukia claims in the first chapter to have lived about 10 times as long as Ichigo, who is 15 years old when the series start, which would make her 150 years old, which is impossible because she's younger than Byakuya, so we can only assume she was 'bragging'. She's about 60-70 years old, if you ask me.

Damn those fillers, they're not nearly as good as Soul Society arc was :(

I honestly don't care much for anime versus topics, I also don't care if people like them, in the long run most of them are pretty retarded and the only good ones have already been done before. Just enjoy a series for what it is, instead of being "MY CHARACTER IS MUCH STRONGER THAN YOURS."

Currently watching: Code Geass [shit sux, mostly] and Xam'd: Lost Memories [Go watch this if you want an actual good anime this season, srsly.]

Psh, it will probably close to being as lengthy as the Bounto; probably do it until the flashbacks are complete.

As for movies, I would recommend the first one that came out (can't remember what it was called) if you want to laugh; Felix and I bursted out laughing in most of the fights.

No, not really. It will stretch for about ten episodes, I calculate, but I doubt it's gonna be more. Absence of the main cast = not good food for filler, unless they abuse Hitsugaya again. Ugh.

Mneh. I kinda liked the movie [Memories of Noboy]. The OVA [Sealed Sword Frenzy] was just stupid. Of course, nothing was really as good as the actual anime, let alone the manga.

Anyway, he seemed pretty young, by attitude and all. Then again, we know nothing about how Shinigami exactly age, so it's pretty damn vague. Whatever.
