I am enjoying the hell out of this mini series!!! Let me tall ya! I think the animation is brilliant. The characters are fun and the story is pretty hardcore. I love the idea of it being like a samurai champloo with more futuristic elements. Enemies have cell phones, rocket launchers and guns. All this dude wants to do is take down god and drink some mother fuckin lemonade!

I never caught it when it was on SpikeTV (this was before I had a DVR...). I've thought about buying the DVD, especially for some delicious Samuel L. Jackson.

Ninja Ninja is awesome, but I still think Afro Samurai was a bad series overall if you're going to take it seriously.

Yeah I got this on DVD. Awesome animation and soundtrack the fucking RZA. It was pretty good I remember when I first saw it on Bravo and was like thats a badass motherfucker.

That serie owns. COOL ANIMATION, EVERYTHING, BLOOD, PORN, Cigarettes, A good story. Perfect.

Decent, noted for its flashy fight sequences and semi-deep story involving hate, war, and conflict. I never dove deep into the plot and characters but this too reminds me of series like DMC, one that puts focus on characters and conflicts and not so much inner story telling with good character development. Entertaining I would agree with but I wouldn't put it too much past that. At best it's like an "African American" version of Samurai Champloo.
