Has anyone kept up with the TV episodes? Its up to 267 and I'm assuming the Blueno vs Luffy fight will start at the end of 268 and continue through 269.

I like the voices that the TV show provides, especially for characters like Fukurou and Kumadori. Both are bizzare in their own rights and if left to the manga it would be nearly impossible to determine what they really sound like. Fukurou's voice is done by a woman too (He's still a male, but the voice is that of a childs).

The episodes are awfully catching up with the manga. The producers of the show should really slow down or else the One Piece anime would be cancel just like how Rurouni Kenshin was cancel.

I'm really doubting a cancellation. Its so popular in Japan that the Merry Go is an actual boat. However I'll agree with you on how close the anime is catching up to the manga.

Episode 267 IS Manga 380. Currently the manga is up to 415, leaving a 35 issue difference. Thats roughly 25~35 episodes depending on how the show decides to edit content and such.

In OP 416, Jyabura is defeated and we finally see Zoro and Kaku's fight. Zoro has also come up with new attacks in which his arms pump up.

Because its to be expected from the characters, so its not something thats surprising when they do it. Whats interesting is that ALL the Strawhats so far have had some new technique or skill revealed recently.

Luffy - Gears 2/3
Zoro - Gorilla - Double Gorilla (Most likely more new skills to come soon as well)
Sanji - Devile'
Nami - New Climatact skills, Namely Thunder Lance Tempo
Chopper - "Monster" Point
Usopp/Sogeking - Kabuto special attacks, Firebird and Sunflower Stars

The only person we haven't seen anything "New" from is Robin, most likely something will be revealed later on. Franky is already on par with his own set of Super moves.

Maybe Zoro is going to try a Triple Gorilla in which his chest gets pump up as well.

I figure Triple Gorilla will be something like his jaw or neck. It seems to be focused on his sword arms, meaning that a 3rd would be focused around his mouth-sword.

By the way, Wikipedia states Franky and Luffy will battle Lucci together. Thats an error. Luffy told Franky to go help Robin. I'm stating this before anyone gets out of hand stating there would be a 2 on 1 happening.

It'll be like. Gear 3 Luffy > Leopard-Lucci > Gear 2 Luffy > Regular Lucci > Regular Luffy

Thats just my prediction.

I don't think Gear 2 Luffy is going to be stronger than Regular Lucci. Luffy was about to power up into Gear 3 mode against Blueno. Since Blueno has 820 douriki and was still standing after 3 blows from Gear 2 Luffy. Gear 2 Luffy became a little tire after deliver 4 blows to Blueno. Lucci in his regular form has 4000 douriki, so he should be able to endure Gear 2 Luffy's blows.

Franky might actually stay and fight along with Luffy against Lucchi. Luffy and Franky are the only wants who defeated 1 member of CP9. Franky is the only one who defeated 2 members of CP9.

Luffy was only going to go Gear 3 after seeing Blueno stand against his Jet Bazooka. However Blueno collapses anyways. I really believe Luffy could've beaten Blueno without Gear 2, but due to time he had to move faster and hit harder.

It would be interesting to see a two on one. But knowing Luffy's nature, he most likely won't stand for a two on one unless he is on the verge of dying. If there is any cooperation between Franky and Luffy, it will be so one of them can go on ahead and rescue Robin.

Actually, Luffy would still fight alone, even if he was on the verge of dying. He has accepted the fact that he is a mortal and that death will come to him eventually. If it his turn to die, that's it, life's over, no regrets. We saw that on Logue Town, when Buggy was about to execute Luffy.

Luffy only teams up with people when it would be faster to get rid of the enemies. But, in duels like this, Luffy is a stuborn person who fights to death. Alone.

That's just my opinion though.

He never lets anyone help him. Even on the verge of death. When he was fighting crocodile, he was practically dead. But he never let anyone help him. Sure, Nico helped a bit but not with his permission.
