Tekkai is a technique to make your body like steal... Franky's body IS steal... no need to learn it.

Shigan is basically just using Tekkai on a single part of your body, and then attacking at an incredible pace, which will enable you to stab, cut, slash, etc...

Wouldnt surprise me if Sanji was able to jump on the air currently like them, its their leg power that enables it, and no one has leg power like Sanji on the team...

I think Franky's flaw is that he can't learn some moves that humans can. Because he's not natural, not human. BTW, is Franky an android like the androids from DBZ?

I really want to find out about gear 3. Why does he achieve it by biting his thumb? Why does he shrink. Maybe it's because something he does, makes rubber shrink. He achieved gear 2 by vulcanisation, so maybe something else happens and it makes him shrink.

Watch Cyborg 009; as 009 has a switch in his tooth that gives him ability to go into his accelerator modes. Perhaps its more of a gesture rather than an actual activation, as seeing that biting his thumb usually won't achieve anything.

The fact that Luffy shrinks after Gear 3 isn't important to the overal usage. He developed the technique after crossing Aokiji but didn't get the opportunity to use it until recently. Think of the Gears like you would Kaioken in DBZ, Gear 2 is x2, Gear 3 is x3, etc. I like to call mini-luffy Reverse Gear, as he downshifted from 3rd gear into 1st (excuse my manual transmission puns)

Here's a thought, why wasn't Gold Roger send inside the Gate of Justice?

Heres my Speculation that Gold Roger was captured in East Blue, and as such it would be too risky to take him back to the Grand Line (which from what we seen, going to the place totally sucks), where Enies Lobby and the Gate of Justice are.

Oh Gold Roger was impaled by spears. He was not decapitated or "hung from the gallows" this is evident from a lack of Guillotine, or a higher platform for hanging a rope.

Does anyone else think that in some cases, Gol D. Roger looks a tad bit like Blackbeard. I mean if Blackbeard were to freshen up a bit and grow a 'stache he could look ALOT like ol' Goldie

Perhaps they merely wished to finish Gold Roger off as quickly as they could, give him no chance to escape. If they were to travel to Enis Lobbey, there would be a high chance of them possibly being attack by his followers.

Also could be the fact that he requested to be killed in the city he was born, it all began there, so it should end there. Plus killing him sends a big message to the rest of the pirates out there.

I don't think it was smart for the marines to execute Gold Roger in front of the public. If they didn't execute him in front of the public, then the age of pirates wouldn't happen.

Well the reason for ONE PIECE wasn't because of his public execution. If Gold Roger hadn't said anything about leaving his treasure at "that place" (Not One Piece, stupid 4kids) then people probably wouldn'tve gone into piracy.

Its also evident that piracy had been going on well before Gold Roger started as well, just that the "Age of the Pirates" had occured afterwards, resulting in a much larger pirate uprising. Its most likely Shanks and Buggy would still be pirates, evident of them both serving on Whitebeard's crew when they were younger (I only assume its Whitebeard, as they both know him) So overall only the younger crews, like Luffy's wouldn't exist, as well as Don Krieg and anyone after the ambition of One Piece. Though several pirates were just in it for the trade, and not in for the adventure.

Gol D. Roger - Marshal D. Teach (Pirate King and Blackbeard) they're probably distant cousins, who share a relation to Luffy, Ace, and Saul.

We will eventually learn more about Luffy's family as the manga goes on. Who knows, Luffy might have a older or younger sister.

You see, this is why Oda didn't show any of Luffy's family in the first chapter. He wants us to keep guessing. the only comfirmed relative of Luffy is Ace. The rest are just rumors.
