But the basic idea of a guy going crazy and killing those who he views as evil. This sounds like the basic Death Note concept done right, however, since he actually gets out there to do the vigilante vengeance with his own hands.
@CMG: Macbeth is nothing like Death Note. You're thinking of Hamlet. It's not bad that things get compared to it, really. It's a sort of quality gauge for things similar on base levels. If it's said to be better, check it out with caution. If it's said to be worse, don't even try it.
