But you're right. Hahuri wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either. Like you said, decent is a good word for The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi.
I tried Lucky Star and made it two episodes before my writhing brain threatened me with self implosion if I didn't stop. The opening song had some neat spots (Not the lyrics. Those sucked. Just the tone in places like where the stars were falling), but that was about it.

I'm not referring to it being mainstream, I mean what I saw in it was substance, something of a congenial entity. I just liked it. And I don't think DBZ is the best thing in the world, I actually prefer DB over DBZ in some areas. I despise GT.
I wasn't trying to say that being popular makes a product good. I was trying to say that what a product is liked for is what counts, example would be fan service verus plot and characters.
