Did you read Gohan's post? The two split in power, with the majority going to Evil Buu. That's proof enough. The Buu of pure wrath is the same as Buu of pure evil; he was an evil incarnate, since he was all of the evil present in Majin Buu.
Buu doesn't even show he has an ounce of evil left after that, and if there is, please tell me where? No one seems to be able to do that.
