I can help to have a second character. Last time I checked, the area such as the bar, lake, and forest rarely got any activity. With two characters, people can create their own discussions. They can post in two topics at once without creating multiple disruptions (i.e. Kyler kills a huy in the lake and then goes to the bar to see him alive again). Plus, if people post while using two characters, it makes the RPG look more active which can cause other members, both new and old, to want to join. 'cause as we learned last era, if there is hardly any activity, the place kinda dies.
Also, I haven't seen anyone mention their characters bein' stale. Allowing a second character just allows more creativity to be used.
