A film in which Japan is in a state of turmoil in a fictional 21st century and youth was running wild, so the Japanese Government put in act the "BR Act" In which every year one random class in Japan become candidates [Against their will] to participate in Battle Royale, the glorious game of death! Each student must kill each other over the course of 3 days on this island, until only one remains to be the true victor of Battle Royale and their prize is to live on.
It's truly an inspiring piece of work, quite a gripping story, the deaths aren't all that gorey, the best thing about it is the interaction and decision between characters. Plus the OST is very epic. The first movie is great... The second, not so great.
