I once tried being "brutally honest" with absolutely everyone regarding everything but stopped because my loved ones felt I was being too harsh. Nowadays I see the middle ground between habitual lying and brutal honesty. But like you I could care less what people want to hear and I still tend to be straightforward.
Also, lying on the internet is pointless and shows your hopeless sinking into the abyss (you can't even tell the truth when others can't see you).
