Canuck the reason I asked is because I discovered this theory when playing an RPG where I had to make an insane amount of money in the casino in order to gain better weapons and items. They had every game just like a normal casino but the roulette table is where I killed.
I would take 9 squares and paint them with chips at every center, edge and side. I'm not sure what it came out to be but every 3 tries I would win at least once. When a number came out I believe it payed out 64x(not exactly sure on that number). So basically you make more than enough to sustain a betting streak like this.
I was hoping you may have more information on whether this would work in the real world. I pretty sure the dealer would not give you time to paint every corner with chips considering the speed at which these games are played with a decent volume of people.
