Like when Trunks fought the Androids in The Special. I mean Gohan Died from those two and Trunks survived A blast in front of his face from Android 18. If he hadn't survived, The history-line of the past would never change and every1 would be rolled by the Androids.
Or when Yamcha had a hand go through his stomach, He was bleeding crazy. Yet he survived.

they fixed Yamcha up with a senzu bean and some TLC man. As for Trunks, didn't Gohan swoop by and save him in the nik-of-time??? I can't remember, but if he wasn't saved, then think:Gohan was killed by a series of hundreds of blasts, and Trunks was hit by just 1 blast.
