No, it doesn't "depend". No firearm ever made can propel a bullet even into percentages of the speed of light.
A fast bullet (most are much slower) travels at about 1,500 FEET per second. Light travels at 186,000 MILES per second.
That means light travels over 700
thousand times the speed of the fastest bullet.
Just because something moves faster than a person can see, doesn't mean it's moving anywhere even close to the speed of light.
