Re: Military Numbers?
Double-Post.
Lets assume I’m wrong. Per year, 27 Shinobi become Genin in Konoha. Now, lets assume that the average Shinobi is employed for 50 years, given that Shinobi such as Sandaime, Sannin, etc, are more than a match against most opponents. Multiply 27 times 50. That gives you Konoha’s maximum amount of Shinobi. That would indicate that Konoha has 1,350 Shinobi enlisted, at best. This isn’t including rogues and those who died in battle. After the Konoha Invasion, there were only 675 Shinobi left in Konoha? Now then, lets assume that the other 4 Villages have an equal amount of Shinobi, at best. That would indicate that there are roughly 6,750 Shinobi distributed amongst the 5 Countries, at very best. Yet again, this isn’t counting rogues or battle casualties. I even stretched the average career of a Shinobi from my initial 30 to 50. Something doesn’t seem right with those numbers. I mean, ancient armies had military forces in the 100,000s. Yet, the 5 Shinobi countries, together, don’t even have 1/10th of that?
Tell me what I did wrong. Now.
