Imagine they fight someone stronger than them, what will be the difference if there is a time limit for Gogeta and not for Vegeto. Gogeta will get his ass kicked for 30 minutes while Vegeto will get his ass kicked until he dies.
Edit: It is better but surely not because of the fact it lasts forever.
