The background has "filter overflow" written all over it. Use them in moderation but if you over use them like that it is not looking good, at least not right now. Try incorporating custom works for backgrounds, such as custom textures and custom brushes, that would be nice. The stock sticks out too much is in no way involved with the background. Text is nice but it's hard to read. Maybe use some smudging techniques by smudging the stock photo. Keep at it man, the only key to unlocking your potential is continual progress. Find something that works and then keep digging.
