Well it wouldnt surprise him if he knew in his 3rd form hes as strong as Buu.

I see where you're coming from, I do. I just think Goku knew he was a lot stronger then what he was putting out. As far as I can remember there were a bunch of times when the Z fighters knew there opponents were holding back, it happens. Also quoting the dub means little to nothing, wouldn't recommend it.
