Default Re: The Sky is Burning

OOC ~ Sorry for the lateness myself ... last couple of nights turned out a little crazy x_X

Name: Jemmelle
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Height: 5'5''
Weight: 129lbs
Race: Demon
Typically an evil race, loving to kill. Other than almost always being evil, they can be easily mistaken with mutants.
Advantage: Demons are immortal; they cannot be killed. When they die, they do infact get sent to the Afterlife, but they may return at any time. They may also travel between this world and the next.
Disadvantage: To return from life before the usual 5 day waiting period, demons must summoned by another LIVING demon.
Class: Mercenary (Thief)

Appearance:

Personality: Jemmelle, at first, would seem cold and calculating. She does not offer her hand to many, instead preferring to observe those around her and gain an opinion of their personality. She is also very determined and stubborn, meaning that if she fails at anything once, you can guarantee she will not admit to failure, and continue on until she is successful. Due to this nature, she can sometimes come off as childlike, should she ever speak at all, which can perhaps detract from her status as a thief; alongside this, she seems to have an eye for valuables such as jewelry, money and the like. She does not care much for hurt. If it is in her job description to injure or kill somebody, she will not hesitate to do it, as long as she gets paid; similarly, should anyone offend her, she will make good use of the weaponry she has. Though not being entirely bloodthirsty, she has a passive attitude towards killing, and does not see 'innocent' and 'guilty' - only dead and alive. Ultimately, being agile and supposedly talented, Jemmelle could be classed as a good ally - though very often is an ally only to herself. She does not try to make friends, feeling that they would simply hold her back, but if someone grants her a favour, she considers herself forever in the debt of that person.

Dexterity: 255
Speed: 335
Ki: 9,000
Health: 3,000

Attacks:

Bloody Roar:
Ki Usage: 450 ki
Description: Something of a shockwave, sent towards the opponent from either a long or short range. it is caused by Jemmelle summoning something of a 'force-field' of ki a short distance in front of her, before running towards and colliding with it, sending this force-field towards the opponent. Upon impact, this ki force-field is most likely to cause damage to the opponent, though this depends on their vitality - if Jemmelle's vitality equates to less than her opponent, then this attack will temporarily paralyse them for a very short period of time; just enough for Jemmelle to make a quick escape, though not enough for her to attack them. [The beginnings of this attack can be seen in the 'Appearance' image].

Shadow Creeper:
Ki Usage: 300 ki (150 ki per post)
Description: As the name would suggest, this attack takes on the form of vines (which can also be seen in the 'Appearance' image), which Jemmelle can use to 'control' her opponent, rather like a puppet. This does not, however, warrant complete control - the opponent is still in control of their own mind, and can break the vines at any time, should Jemmelle lose her focus. Again, this attack is determined by the focus of Jemmelle's opponent in comparison to her own - the vines will be much more delicate, and the level of control much lower, if her opponent's focus is greater than her own. At first, the vines are wielded much like whips, and so can damage the opponent slightly should Jemmelle be unable to control them - they also sap at Jemmelle's ki, ensuring that they can only be used for a limited period of time.

Deathdance:
Ki Usage: 500 ki
Description: An attack that allows Jemmelle to mimic her opponent's moves - though not copy them entirely, added to the fact that certain limitations are in place. The name 'Deathdance' comes from the fact that the moves look choreographed between the two fighters, even though they are, in fact, all done by chance. Jemmelle is able to copy such movements by channelling the ki energy of her opponent, and so it is thought that this attack is very much a close-range one (Jemmelle must be within close range of her opponent in order to access their ki reserves). The logic behind such an attack is that the only way to weaken Jemmelle whilst whilst the attack is in play is to weaken themselves. However, this attack is again limited, by Jemmelle's ki reserves, and cannot be maintaned beyond the maximum amount. There are also a few ways in which to break the cycle, but these are determined by Jemmelle's physical state at the time.

Dragon Fire:
Race: Shadow Dragons and Demons
Ki Cost: 100-600 (depending on heat)
Description: Using your inner Demon or last night's leftovers, send flames from the inner beast through your mouth to do some serious fire damage. The temperature from the heat is as hot as you can make it. The amount of Ki you use is the temperature of the fire. From 100 degrees Celcius to 600 degrees Celcius.

Multi Form:
Ki Cost: 1,000
Description: This is a technique where the user splits into four separate entities. Hence 12 Eyes, as Tien has 3 eyes. The four entities can fight on their own and can be attacked separately. But the downside is that the user's PL is divided into four, with each copy receiving 1/4 of the original's power level.

Zeni: $1,000
Items/Weapons: N/A

Sagas/Quests Completed: N/A
Biography: Jemmelle's name is a literal translation of 'precious female' or 'jewel female'. This name is apparent, in conjunction with her past. She was born to a clan of like-minded demon mercenaries, who served under the emblem of the snake (hence the bronze serpents that wind their way around her thighs and back, as well as her wrists). She was named 'precious', because, at her birth, it was proclaimed that she would soon become one of the most promising thieves her clan had ever seen. Such a thing did not prevail. Instead, Jemmelle sought to become a martial artist, trying to disassociate herself from the clan numerous times ... such a thing never worked. She was continually trained in the ways of the bandits that raised her, and beaten multiple times, unti she eventually accepted her role as a theif, having no other choice.

It is still thought that this clan exists today, though there is no proof of their existence. They were separated when alien races were first given permission to use the Earth, and the clan split into two halves - both taking on different viewpoints and alliances, with no consideration of Earth's neutral alliance. Jemmelle, much like many of the other younger clan members, found herself a wanderer, thieving for many different people that could offer her money, and things of great value. More often than not, these people were found dead after they had given Jemmelle their every possession, her skill being far beyond their control, and thus leaving them no better than dead.

Jemmelle has no desire to find her clan. Her only concerns lie with finding money, or other valuable items, sometimes fighting for them, but usually simply seeking a 'master' that can pay her until they have nothing left. She is greedy, by the nature that has been beaten into her ... so much so that killing for wealth is not even something she can control. [I'll improve it. I swear.]

~*~*~*~

No wshiper escaped the lips of the female, her vare foot still resting upon the warm body - he was not dead. She had no need to kill for just a few coins, really, and had been stopped, just before completing the task. A thin tricle of blood escaped his temple, but it was nothing for her to truly worry about; if he did awaken, he would simply thought he had tripped and fallen, startled slightly by the small snake that had slithered across the ground in front of him. With any luck, he would also blame the lack of finance in his wallet on that same snake. Her eyes, shrouded as ever, looked towards her left - she was within the boundaries of the city, already, though this poor man had been wandering the outskirts. It had been stuopid of him, really, to begin flashing the coins he possessed.

"Hm." This was the only sound the female made, as she threw one shimmering coin into the air, allowing it to fall back into her palm, eyes still fixated on where the explosion had just occurred. A small vibration passed through the air arround her, causing the demon girl to smirk ... turning on her bare heel, and leaving the man unconscious in the road. She slipped the treasure back into her pocket, tilting forwards and setting off at a run, towards the explosions ... there was no way in hell that was it's fullest extent.
