Brutus' eyes darted around momentarily between the flames on the battlefield. He could sense that his foe hid within one of them, but couldn't determine which it was. He smirked, however, because he was prepared for exactly this type of situation. A low growl escaped his chapped lips as he focused his ki once more, his aura again flaring to life as the ground beneath him buckled. It had been awhile since he had truely exerted himself when it came to use of his ki, during his usual training he usually focused on physical strength training and basic ki techniques.

He raised his hand slowly to the sky as a large blue ball began to focus in his palm. "SCATTERSHOT!" The saiyajin roared as a beam of energy erupted from his open hand and shot toward the sky above. As it pieced the clouds it split, sending several smaller beams on a crash course with the flames Kaim had spread. No matter which one he was in he would be forced to either dodge and reveal himself or take the attack.
