With that said, Velox turned back to his soup and spoke with his back toward the three, “Fuhennori-kun – the owl – is an immortal spirit who, when summoned to the mortal universe, takes the form as a mere owl. I knew him since I was a wee lad. We have since been very dependent on one another in combat and are willing to sacrifice it all for one another,” he paused one last time, now preparing a bowl for his new arrival, “Friendship, it’s a funny thing, hm?”
