Orochimaru could only put his palm to his forehead and rub his temples trying to massage away the pain of enduring the sight of such a socially awkward gesture. After that failed, he raised the bottle of staunch alcohol to his mouth and emptied the remaining liquid in a series of burning chugs that left him a bit watery eyed. That's when he noticed that it was quiet in the bar. Dead. Quiet. Everyone was looking at the table where he and the hazel eyed fellow sat, waiting for his response. Eager to be out of such a situation, the young Sannin's mind raced at possible courses of action from hurtling himself out of the window to letting loose a Futon: Daitoppa that leveled the place. Then, whether due to the effects of the massive amount of the beverage just consumed or to the genius mind of his, Orochimaru had the solution. He set the bottle quietly back on the table and slowly stood to his feet, never breaking eye contact with the stranger. Each of his hands raised from his sides until they were at the right height to begin a flurry of hand seals.

Clap. Clap. Clap. The sound filled the quiet pub, and soon others stood, first one, then many, joining in on the action. Before long, the place was filled with cheers and raging applause as merriment and drunken clamor reclaimed the place. Orochimaru nodded to the man as a means of excusing himself and once again made his way to the bar. Motioning for the barkeep's attention, a whispered inquiry was made.

"Ho-ho-ho", the large man laughed, "It's down that hall to your right". Orochimaru thanked the man for the directions and shuffled through the patrons before entering the door leading to relief from both the awkwardness of the situation, however humorous, as well as the quickly digested drink.
