Define "Hang with". Cause personally I think people like him because he's a fat guy who can jump and kick, and that doesn't impress me. IMO, he'll never be on Angle's level, ever. Angle's a different breed. AJ is definitely one of the best out there, and in my eyes, has always out shined Joe. And thats how they built him up. They brought Joe to TNA and stuck him in the X Division to make him look devastating against guys who are 5'10, 190 lbs. Plus like I said he's a fat guy who can jump and kick so people think he's good. Not only that but he's turning into a Hogan-esque wrestler now. He comes in, does his few signature moves, and he's out. At least before I could say he ran and jumped around a little more.
Note: I was thinking and Joe came into TNA in 2005, same year as Christian Cage. Angle came in 2006. So Joe hasn't been there "way" before Angle and did nothing to get the company to where it was, to be honest. He's just a whiny fat WWE reject:
