Is usually some dude who distorted his guitar to the point you can't even tell what freaking key he's playing in, and even at that, just some simple, ugly-sounding power chords is all thats going on. That's why Trivium, who was influenced by Metallica (To say the least) and doesn't play flat-out thrash, is great.
I listen to Screamo/Metal that has a great beat and guitar, I listen to a harder form of classic music.
