Not really. You can have two guys who are close in power, and two guys who are nowhere near each other or those other two in strength, yet the former two have lived lives remarkably similar to the latter. Because their bodies aren't totally similar, their lives could not have taken that direction? Again, that doesn't even begin to make sense.
It supports the fact that they were similar, that their power (the power itself), chakra, nature was similar, perhaps also that their potential was similar, but in no way that his abilities were the same or relatively close to the same as compared to Naruto's abilities, as Madara's were to Shodai's. It doesn't relate to the strength difference at all, or even bring up amounts of power.
