You need a similar body under similar circumstances to have a "remarkably equal" life--of course, Naruto is unable to use the wooden element, and is a jichiruki.
Anyhow seeing how Kyuubi saw Uchiha Madara in Uchiha Sasuke's eyes enhances that statement.
